whether youre efficient or not, it doesnt mean that youre not a gun.
i have no problem with someone putting wade over t-mac, altho i disagree. but this argument is moot at this point. i prefer not to argue with people who base all their stuff off of stats. they tend to lack a real understanding of the game.
i noticed thats the standoff point for certain players on here. like t-mac, iverson & others who i try to stay away from arguing about on this board.
Ooh, tell me what understanding I must lack because I'm using stats to back up my point?
There's no way in hell that Mac was better than Wade. You wanna argue things like natural talent, ceiling, etc...sure, Mac might have been the most naturally talented player since MJ but he never had Wade's competive Fire, relentless attacking ability, or his overall craftiness when it came to basketball.
T-Mac was a better shooter and had better range than Wade plus more defensive versatility.
Wade was a more effective scorer because he could get into the lane at will and finish anything, constantly drew fouls, and constantly sucked defenses in to open shots for his squad.
At best, T-Mac was equal to prime Wade but better? Way better? And then you're comparing to guys who have a godly impact on both sides of the ball like KG or one of the most unguardable offensive players of all time?
More to basketball than talent. Brains, fire, drive, and will matter too. It's why JR Smith ain't shyt.
