I see what y'all mean but I look at it like this: say I'm unemployed at two jobs offer me a position. One offers a bit more money but no room for advancement. The other is a more successful company with room for advancement but they offer a little less money. If money isn't a huge concern I'm taking the second job. Money obviously isn't an issue for Durant so he went with the company that allows him more room for advancement. OKC had their best shot this season and still couldn't deal the deal with a 3-1 advantage. KD is showing he wants to win. If he went to a team that sucked people would be saying he only cares about the money.
