Yea and these guys are running with a terrible argument. A coach's decision to try and stop the more stoppable player is a legit strategy. Throwing 2 dudes at durant isn't a viable option on that team, he just shoot over your, however teams have shown you can fluster Curry as a scorer and make the others guy beat you.

I'll repeat it again...just because a coach decides to focus more attention on a player does not make that player better than other players. When Pop focused on locking up Wade and taking bosh out the game while letting Bron shoot in 2014...that doesn't mean wade and bosh were better, it's simply a strategy. It's not a difficult concept.

How so? The Cavs were never a threat to beat the Warriors.. They were about as overmatched as any team has ever been in the finals. The fact that the 2018 series even had two games that went down to the final minutes proves that Lue employed a sound strategy. Curry is a more lethal force than KD due to his shot selection and his ability as a playmaker. KD primarily takes midrange jumpers which is the exact shot teams are willing to concede, he is also not an effective playmaker. You would rather he have the ball in his hands than Curry.
