The problem with this is, when Curry was on the bench, Durant was the leading scorer in the game with 19 points on high efficiency, while being defensive stopper. He was the main reason why they were still in the game at halftime. He's been the main reason why they've won games this season because of his efficient scoring and defensive play.

You don't think I could say the exact same thing if it was Durant who was in foul trouble and the game turned out the same? What really cost them was execution in the 3rd and 4th quarters, they'd come within striking distance by getting a stop on defense but then would commit a careless turnover or put up an ill-timed shot.

That is what loss them the Finals last season imo. Curry, Klay, and now Durant are going to have to take higher percentage shots when the games are down to the wire. Their love for their jump shots is what caused them a title. Be smarter players down the stretch and no one has a chance against them even with their shaky defense and rebound issues.

Durant is a goat too... i think you have me confused for a Warriors hater. :whoa: I have no malice in my heart for any of em, I wanna see them win and do well. Im just saying the won 73 games without KD my point is its maybe better to try and integrate him INTO that instead of letting him get so many isos and go to work so much. Im just unhappy to see Durant stopping the ball at key points which he did. Hes I think at his deadliest in this offense when he plays like Klay and makes a move within 3 seconds of catching it. Instead I see him as the primary ball handler with steph on the floor and I dont know if thats the best strategy. If it works out it works out I heavily favor them to win the ring anyway Im just saying it could look a lot better out there.

They should have him play down in the mid post in those crunch time situations, so he either gets fouled or makes the shot over the defender. He was pretty successful when they went to him at that spot throughout the course of the game. Steph and Klay need to learn from their Final's mistakes that they need to take higher percentage shots down the stretch instead of taking stupid contested 3 point shots. Their decision making is what ultimately won Cavs the title last season.

Rockets are an elite team breh

I wouldn't say they are elite, but the editions of Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon with Harden handling make them a team to worry about if you face them in the post season. If the Rockets can get into the third seed in the western conference, then Harden might win his first MVP this season. He is going to continue to eat with those new editions on the team.

:patrice:at Baynes being on that list, breh is far from a rim protector, solid big though. Flawed list.
It's not suppose to be a top-5 rim protectors list though, it's just a list of players that have defended at least 70 attempts at the rim. It's to center around Durant's defense more than anything else. You have players like Whiteside and Gobert whose rim protection %s iare in the lows 40s but they've defended well over 100 attempts. Plus not to mention most of Baynes' defense comes against teams' benches, if he actually played regular minutes against starters it wouldn't be as low as it is.
