Stars are allowed to put their friends, families and trainers etc on payroll. John Wall's bodyguard was damn near a part of the team a couple years ago
Exactly, he’s just KD’s bodyguard that the Nets pay for as a perk or courtesy to a star player. He should NOT be on the court in the middle of a game putting his hands on other players.

Exactly. I remember bum ass Tony Kornheiser on MNF trying to get all philosophical about Carmelo's punch to Marty Collins saying it was a metaphor of the downgrade of society and Melo lost his deal with some airline.

Back in the day, no one gave a fukk like that until the past 20 years or so.

Can't blame the players .

:unimpressed:Non-story. Nets security protecting it's star player during the playoffs. Nikka could fukk his leg up from falling wrong. Tryna make a story outta this is corny.
I've never seen a player bodyguard do anything but let the players handle things on their own. This is a shytty precedent.

I for one support this type of fukkery. Let NBA players have their own bodyguards participate in scuffles...for the culture. If only JR Smith was still in the league, he probably would have some bloods from New Jersey step in when he got into issues on the court. And Kyrie 13X would have the NOI. Do it Silver.
