The word snitch loses all meaning and relevance if a "snitch" is anyone that mentions a crime.

Kids telling someone they've been molested are snitches under this stupid ass criteria.

Keefe D is a snitch in that he was a willing participant in several crimes and then told police about others participating in those very same crimes in order to avoid going to prison, when he knew full well the risks of committing those crimes in the first place.

Pac getting clapped and telling anybody who cared to listen who he thought might have been responsible isn't the same thing. Getting shot isn't illegal, nor did he stage the shooting and agree beforehand to take part in it.

Personally IDGAF about "dry snitching". My concern has always been with people using the term "snitch" as some type of bully pulpit to intimidate people who aren't criminals into feeling reluctant or afraid to expose crimes that effect them or their communities. The whole ass backwards "stop snitching" movement and mantra.

I think Pac was in the wrong going at Big like he did, but it's not remotely comparable to Keefe D telling police about multiple felonies other people committed WITH HIM just to spare his own ass.

Also, the Vibe interview didn't use real names besides the guys that admitted to being there that the police had already talked to when on the scene.
