A pilot told me the shyt don't really matter as long as it ain't too many. So this electronics privilege is to be enjoyed by the ignorant nikkaz like me that don't listen. :youngsabo:

Yeah, you can't be fukkin around breh. Anytime I fly I be waitin to hear someone say Allah'uakbar or some shyt so I can jump out my chair and leap on that mafukka on some Stone Cold vs Vince type shyt.

:laff:

I ain't getting done up like that by any means

Hell yeah it's that serious, I'm already gon have my ears poppin so might as well put the headphones on. And if the headphones on why not just listen to somethin. and you talkin bout 60 seconds, shyt takes at least a whole song before they even let you use your shyt. So at this rate I ain't givin a goddamn, the music gon jam. :stylin:

:heh: ignorant arse...

its certain situations where you do not want to find out what if you were wrong...and this is obviously one of them...

of course one person may not cause damage to the plane...but why even try?

If leaving electronics on during takeoff and landing resulting in a crash was an actual possibility they'd confiscate everything when we got on the plane.

I leave my stuff on, headphones and everything, as long as you're not playing with the ipod, have it loud enough for them to hear it before the plane takes off or going like

they won't bother you

they ask you to turn them off because the landing and the takeoff are the most critical parts of the flight. they do it for safety reasons so that everyone is attentive in case something happens. that's not to say that some devices might not cause interference with the airplanes instruments (like cell phones), but no one really knows for sure it they cause any considerable amount of interference. some other flights around the world let you use your phone, but here FAA regulations require you to turn them off.

best thing to do is to listen to what those motherfukkers are telling you to do and not be on some ignorant shyt as if you know how an airplane works...

edit: oh, and on a sidenote, they might have someway of monitoring the interference. on a flight i took about two weeks ago, before we taxied to the runway the pilots said something about everyone not having their electronic devices off. i mean, maybe the flight attendant told them to say that because she spotted someone but i don't recall her going to the pilot's cabin. he just said something about it out of the blue...

I think this is the real reason tbh. I also read that the whole cell-phones is not so much interfering directly with the airplanes electronics but more about the cell-phones' signals "bouncing" from one relay satellite to another (since the plane is moving) complicating communications (among which the planes' communication).

Just wait 5 min breh :aicmon:
