Got fired from my job a couple years ago, and decided to start my own business.

I was making about $45 per week for a good six months. I used to literally walk everywhere . Or get the occasional swipe to subway.

I would buy spaghetti to hold me down at night and when I could I would go to soup kitchens to get lunch.

It was tough, but that shyt gave me character tho:ehh:

Spent about 4-5 months unemployed in late spring, early summer 2015. Had a breh truly asking himself what he could live without in terms of phone, internet, etc. Ate so much ramen and cold cut sandwiches ...

The worst part of it was really the depression from losing that job and being unable to find another for that time. Even when I worked, I never really had true disposable income outside of a splurge once or twice a year. That was a rough time, though. Pushed a lot of people away and struggled to even leave my bedroom (and at the time I slept on this thin ass futon mattress sort of deal), let alone the house.

Now? I have a chance to ensure I can do more than stay afloat if my income source suddenly gets snatched from me.

It was a few years ago when we were so broke we didn't open the mailbox anymore. We was like no point in opening if we don't got money right.:pachaha:

basicly I went from working to going back to college but couldn't find a student job but I already had paid the tuition :skip:. My gf lost her job so we were fukked like I never experienced before:skip:. So all the money we made went towards rent and surviving on low quality food. That period made me age like a montherfukker, pay for college breh but be dead broke to even buy books breh:skip: skipped my whole first semester because I couldt even buy a train membership :skip: to go to college :mjlol::mjcry:

4 months laters I found a student job that paid €500 a week and I was like :blessed:lets open the mailbox.

No duck tales when I say this...:mjcry:

I open the mailbox and I see a letter from court that I have to go because of a bill that wasn't paid. Then I see a second letter saying because I didn't go I lost the case and I needed pay €250. Then I got a 3 letter from the repo man saying that I didn't pay that bill and the amount was now €500 and if I didn't pay in 5 working days they were coming to my house to get the furniture so they could sell it on auction to pay for the bill.:mjgrin::sadbron:

We had like 4 payment plans running, got blacklisted from one energy provider. shyt was too real :damn:.
