I just make sure to use "key words" in my duty descriptions. I use specific hardware/software by name and I have a professional overview section where I list generic skills such as communication or something like that. I'm happy with the format but I haven't really had an opportunity to use it to look for jobs so I'm not sure if it works or not, I just like the way it looks.

going on here. Like somebody already said, Recruiters and HR reps are running your resume thru a filtering software first searching for keywords. Once they get the hits, they looking at your resume for content and not length.
