the blacklivesmatter movement is valid I just think people get caught up on the name. It's too easy to critique. The name is literally a divisive statement.

IF they would've called it "all-lives-matter" it would've had the same impact.

It's not called Black Lives Matter More. There's nothing in the name Black Lives Matter that insinuates that other lives don't matter or matter less. It's a name that only wants to bring awareness to the fact that the lives of black people are being treated unfairly (to say the least) by the police system on an absolute disproportionate level.

That's what makes it so insulting whenever someone goes 'But but but, all lives matter!' Yeah, dipshyt, of course all lives matter, but that's not the situation right now and that is what Black Lives Matter brings attention to, and talking that All Lives Matter shyt is what brings the movement down. I get why ignorant racists don't understand this (or they do but try to twist it) but I'll never understand why regular folks are so oblivious to this.

It's fukking ridiculous that you would have to explain simple logic to some people to understand this regardless of race, but I keep forgetting people only know or understand what they want to believe.
