we cant have it both ways. when white cops and whomever kill an innocent black person. we are quick to turn up and riot and go all out. Yet, when its a black on black shooting or a black on black crime. we dont make moves. We just sit there and cry .listen i get it we all know the white man dont give a damn about us. but hell how does it look when we dont give a damn about ourselves. we out here killing each other, stealing from each other. the white man doesnt have to do anything but sit there and watch. I think KeKe Palmer is just young and naive to race issues. If she was in her 30's and more experienced I would call her a house negro/c00n. But after she continues to work hard at her craft and get overlooked by less talented white actors her eyes will be opened and she will know what time it is.

I give her a pass because she didn't bring down Black people on that "what about black on black crime" bullshiit.

in 5-10 years time, she'll know what time it is!!!

I've been a supporter of her...but this is some straight up liberal, post-racial, c00nbaya, new black horse shyt on her behalf.

The tweet about her not working with whites is the most important to me....she'll talk all this "We are all one peoples" bullshyt...but doesn't seem to understand how she has already been significantly held back by the same people she would extend an olive branch to.

The kikes and crackers that she is so desperate to be "the same" as....have nothing to offer her and want little to do with her. She'll get maid and stripper and maybe "black best friend" roles (If that token minority friend role hasn't been overtaken by hispanics yet) but that's it. Meanwhile, they'll be handing out Oscars and million dollar contracts to white women like Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Watson like CANDY.

Black actresses NEVER get to be the "young ingenues"....hollywood, the media, magazines....they just never give these girls a chance, they NEVER get the excitement and envy. I feel bad for her in a way...she's 20 years old, right at the moment where she SHOULD be the talk of the town....but because she's black, she'll be given few opportunities to really shine.

I dunno. Like I said...she's been a good positive figure in the past and she isn't a bedwench....Maybe she's just too naive to really understand how racism is already (significantly) affecting her life and career.

Or hell....Maybe Keke is vying for that Zoe Saldana go-to-bed-wench slot.... Zoe getting older, they will eventually need to look for a more youthful black chick wiling to be smutted out by white men. Maybe she think that if she just stays unoffensive to cacs and kikes long enough, she will eventually dig herself out of the "urban market ditch" and she can play the boring, no-personality having black girlfriend in a few movies.

She's young and idealistic and has no idea about reality and the way the world works. You can only control yourself. That's a harsh reality. You can see different colors of the rainbow and want to hold hands and sing but you can't force that on someone else. She'll learn...... But the only way to learn is to be confronted with the truth. Some of us learned that thinking is complete b.s. at a very young age. We're not all the same, we're not all treated the same. That's interracially and intraracially, for that matter. It's good to be sheltered from some things..but only to a certain point. She's a bit older than that (20) but that's why older teenagers often deal with depression and angst because the've been sheltered from the real world, and when they realize they've been sold fairytales and they can't just "go anywhere, do anything, be whatever you want..the world is your oyster " they want to slit their wrists. She probably skipped this step, being in Hollywood. I see it all the time.. people clinging to beliefs, ideologies and systems that always fail because they can't accept human nature, like The Wire quote says, "You want it to be one way but it's the other way". I'm actually thinking of naming the book I'm writing something similar.
