Whisenhunt has Mariota playing pretty good football, especially for a rookie. If his development keeps coming along, Whiz has to get another season. The team simply needs players or it won't matter who's the coach.

I see but coaches are a dime a dozen.Put another coach in there and who knows.I do give him props for getting Lebeau to help out Horton as D Coordinator,but still resultsm atter in this business.The coach in Jacksonville had less talent and he is doing more with it.Whizz record speaks for itself

As a Titans fan I am sick to my stomach from how predictable this offense is on every Sunday. Whiz has micro managed Mariota to where he only has like 5 plays to do.

1. Dump off to HB
2. Dump off to TE
3. Slant for TE towards the middle of the field
4. Pass off RB
5. Screen play


Literally that's all the Titans do. Nothing deep ala Alex Smith and when they have the lead they start playing super conservative. Mariota shoulda sat out last week after he got injured. The result was a costly 4 turnovers because Mariota was not 100. Whiz shoulda took him out for the sake of himself and the team. Lebeau and Horton are really good pick ups especially when everyone and their momma thought the defense would be ass but the offense would be decent. The Titans have lost 3 games in heartbreaking fashion. Colts, Buffalo and Falcons. Whiz doesn't deserve to be there if they can't lead a division where it's up for grabs. I said it from the beginning of the preseason the Colts would be trash on my podcast www.fteswl.com and it was true. Luck has been playing garbage. Texans playing trash and the Jags are just too inexperience. Titans should be #1 right now. But Whiz is holding them back. At the very least take away this mans play calling!

He truly has no unaccountablity that's why he doesn't fear these L's. He knows the front office is weak and has no true leadership or blueprint on how to win.

Titans issues are deeper than the head coach. A lot of it is due to lack of a true owner, and a god awful general manager which accounts to why the Titans have field shyt teams the past few years. However, void of talent doesn't explain blowing leads to the Colts, Bills, and Falcons this year. That's coaching or lack thereof. If you're struggling to remain competitive in the AFC South of all places you have to go. Titans have to rebuild at the top and go down, first putting in an owner who cares about winning, second firing the GM and anyone involved in the drafting process because it's been a mess and I believe the biggest problem right now with the Titans. Third, getting a coaching staff that the players old and new can buy into.

If they finish 2-14 again, I'll get on board. If they finish with 5-7 wins, he's earned more time.

Look at the QBs he had to deal with after Warner. That 8-8 record should have gotten him Coach of the Year.

When Wisenhunt was passes over as coach for the Steelers it pissed me off but now I see why he was. Dude was made to he an offensive mastermind because of what he did with Ben when in reality it was his QB coach Brice Arians who was the mastermind. Dude owes half his checks to Arians IMO

I think the Whisenhunt hate is a little premature. Had a couple tight losses with a rookie QB and this week they lost to a 6-1 team with Mettenberger at the helm by a FG.

Can anyone even name five players on Tennessee's roster? They don't have a lot of talent.

we're dead fukking last in one of the worst divisions EVER, when we should be in first. that's a fireable offense in itself.
