Kendall Gill's take on this is On air, he even acknowledged it would have been goaltending if a defender touched Belineli's shot but said it was ok that Joakim did because it was outside the cylinder? How can you have a long career in the NBA and still say shyt like this?

It was obvious goaltending. The issue was that ref inconsistency of using review to call goaltending after they said they weren't allowed to use review for Koufos' shot.

And that's a point that he's been big on as well, so nah, his take isn't on this.

He was on the radio before this went down yesterday and he said when he first saw it during the game he didn't think it was a goaltend, but after viewing the replay he said yeah they got the call right.

BUT his main problem was the refs not calling it goaltending initially when it happened and the Koufus play not being reviewed.

He even said, quote for quote, "If Noah's basket is called goaltending, then Koufus' is too."

Ill see if I can find the clip I watched but he went on air and said that it was not a goaltend because Noah was outside the cylinder and he was pointing out the different camera angles and saying the refs rushed to judgement without looking at the last angle because that one clearly shows it wasnt over the cylinder when tipped. Someone must have got to him and convinced him his interpretation of the rule was
