Does Kendall Jenner have a new NBA boyfriend? According to online reports, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star may have struck up a romance with Los Angeles Lakers player D’Angelo Russell. On October 27, Rumorfix claimed Kendall Jenner’s rumored romance with the professional athlete was the “hottest rumor making the round online right now.”
“Sources tell the various tabloids that things have been getting hot and heavy between the 19-year-old and the up-and-coming Los Angeles Lakers superstar,” Rumorfix explained.
According to the report, Kendall Jenner was introduced to Russell over the summer, and the two began seeing one another “recently,” as was allegedly evident by a “flirty” court side photo of the rumored new couple.
Although the photo above of Kendall Jenner and Russell has only just hit the web, the Twitter universe is abuzz with rumors of the possible romance.
In the last several months, Kendall Jenner has been linked to a number of famous faces, including Lewis Hamilton, Justin Bieber, Michael B. Jordan, Orlando Bloom, Harry Styles, and Nick Jonas. However, she has yet to go public with anyone, so even if she is dating Russell, Kendall Jenner may choose to keep their possible romance away from the public eye — and from Keeping Up With The Kardashians cameras.
As rumors continue to swirl, Kendall Jenner’s rumored boyfriend is preparing for tomorrow night’s 2015-2016 season opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves. On October 26, just two days before the big game, Coach Byron Scott spoke to the Los Angeles Times about whether or not he would be starting Russell in game one.
“I don’t know that yet,” Scott explained after team’s practice on Monday. “I’m still mulling it over.”
“He’s still very young. Very talented [but] he’s still getting a grasp of everything that’s going on. We had a nice little sit-down talk yesterday. As he told you guys I think one time, that he doesn’t know his role — he knows it pretty clearly right now.”
After practicing both coming off the bench, and being in the team’s starting lineup, the potential love interest of Kendall Jenner was left a bit confused, and speaking of his role last week, explained, “I don’t know man. I really don’t. I have no clue at all. Coach is going to do what’s best for the team. And if that’s what he sees is me coming off the bench, then it’s best for the team.”
Russell continued on to the Los Angeles Times, claiming that during his one-on-one chat with the coach, he was told to continue to focus on playing hard, as opposed to being a playmaker, which Scott said he does naturally. Then, when asked if he expected to start on Wednesday, Russell admitted, “I have no idea,” and said he preferred to be on the court “when it really matters.”
So far, neither Kendall Jenner nor D’Angelo Russell have commented on the dating rumors.
