Lets keep it a buck. Kendrick really peaked at TPAB because the album was put so high to the point it became impossible to outdo such an album. That alone cost dude to become a prisoner in his own success, thus breh been AWOL since Black Panther. I'm not including whatever the hell he was doing on that song last year with that dude

Tupac dropped music when we wanted to. Kendrick is scared to drop. He has to have all the stars align for him to drop. Pac is more part of the culture than Kendrick is in 2022. He ain’t out here making classics like Pac did. 5 years to drop an album. When recording is easier than ever.

pac had to drop to make money, it was urgent. he got bailed out in exchange for albums smh. after the first album kendrick been able to chill. let's face it none of these rappers really want to rap all that bad (i would hate to be rapper tbh). but they trying to get paid. some just do business better than others. i think it was snoop that said tde did it better than death row.
