Don’t understand not having it on there first week. That alone would have gotten him over 300k first week. Maybe they thought it didn’t fit or it would require adding another additional song, since both sides have 9 tracks.
Thought it belonged on the album in the first place, its an incredible song with an EXCELLENT video.
And it fits the album perfectly.

You do know Kendrick is signed to 3 labels for right? A dude not adding his first single to the album is not the move of a man who cares about maximizing sales.
He obviously cares about sales but it’s far from his priorities.
