You see I'm seeing a lot of talk about the culture and that's good, but i see many of yall Kendrick stans are doing the EXACT same thing the grammy committee is doing, you are ignoring the base of the culture & placing something on a pedestal simply because YOU prefer it. Be clear on this, if the Grammy committee were the people of the South Bronx Kendrick ain't winning shyt either. Kendrick Lamar music does not bang on blocks, Kendrick Lamar does not influence the culture, Jay-z, 50 cent, Weezy, Tupac etc these were the past Kings of Hiphop, 'King Kendrick' is a false accolade just as 'The Heist - Rap album of the year' is a false accolade.
So while you comfortable suburbanites are (rightly) complaining about the white washing of the culture have a think about your hypocritical attempts at class cleansing the culture.
