If it was 6/7 years ago and Jay elect was hot off of Exhibit A & C, dope mixtapes
and several co-signs. I'd be on board with the idea that Jay Elect was "better"
than Kendrick who had yet to prove himself at that point.
However it's 2016 and this dude just dropped a throwaway album better than other
people's official releases, he's hot off of two critically acclaimed albums and several
dope features where he's absolutely bodied the artists he's on the track with.
At this point, comparing Kendrick and Jay Elect is like being compared to the dude
who was the man when you were a freshman (in highschool) that wound up staying at the
community college level while you went to wreck shyt at a major university.
We're dealing with two totally different leagues at this point IMO.

Kendricks verse was being talked about on a national level. Most people don't even give a fukk that Jay harmonica was en on the track.
