How you gonna say all that and end it with "happy for skateboard P though"?

:what:

You're part of the problem...

skateboard p been holding it down for a minute so its good look on his part. but nikkas acting like a rapper winning a grammy means much when it doesn't. Looking for a white mans approval.

Grammys already knew it that there are dumb ass hip-hop fans think they're going win and still keep trolling on them :troll:. Hip-Hop fans were like :gladbron: Kendrick Lamar, Nas, Wu-Tang Clan, Cube, Pac, Bigge, etc gonna win some awards but these white folks stay trolling on them, just want some rating, etc.White folks knows the sh!t while everybody here don't know sh!t and yet they're still watching?.......

It even goes past the grammy's really.

Just stop looking to the pop culture crowd for validation with hip-hop. I don't see that happening anytime soon though.

But this however:

The window for Black artists to put up #'s is slim right now, but as with any trend one day it'll sway back.

For my number geeks, entertainment is usually sinusoidal. It goes for trends, music, sports, etc. Right now you have white artists stealing Black artists' music, but it'll eventually get overcrowded, drained, and bland by them. They'll eventually fiend for something more "organic." That opens the door for a solid Black artist to come around and they'll go all out for it. Yet like all the greats before, they still won't get love from any of their award shows.

If the future was now, plenty of artists today would be on Prince's level. Maybe not quite in terms of overall music genius, but :krs: relative to what's out.

The same thing is happening right now, just in reverse, except the love from one side isn't being shown because it's pretty much theft.

From Da Champ is here

I think the funniest thing is that y'all tryna downplay the Grammy's now, but this nikka Kendrick put on his Sunday's best to be in that bytch to hang out with the same CACs y'all in here tryna talk down on now that they didn't give him an award. That nikka is not no pro-black nikka so all this talk about race and shyt is stupid.

THe reality is, y'all AND Kendrick got hyped up at the prospect of large-scale white approval via the Grammy's. Jay only showed because the paid him to perform and prob told him he was winning something. Drake said FDB. Kanye said FDB (and this even with him being a serious contender for the Best Rap Album award and definitely could have performed if he wanted to). Lil dumb ass Kendrick was up in that bytch all giddy like it was nothing.

Stop acting like that nikka is just some symbolism for blackness. He lookin' for that white approval just like anyone else and he's not special. :camby:

Dude had a black ass hood song covered by a suburban white boy rock band and y'all still talkin' about "blackness" when it comes to him. He sold out right then and there. Prob thought doin' that shyt was gonna score him some points with the committee so he could get an award. :laff:
