the problem with these shows sometimes is, they give top-billing to the artists with the most industry clout, even if that artist is not someone who the crowd came to see.

this is far from the first or the last time that something like this happened. but I thjink its gonna be more commonplace now that the industry is dictating who the stars are, now more than ever.

Is it just me? Or does it take a lot of brain power for me to decypher wtf Future is actually saying on a song than it does to understand anything Kendrick is saying. Maybe that is why I listen to Future over and over

To me the reason why Kendrick is a good artist is he is able to make a lot of thoughts and concepts relatable by making it simple. There is nothing overly complex about his actual lyrics, more like how they are delivered and layered with music is the more complex part. Just the lyrics themselves though are not too hard for a regular person to understand. He's not even a Ras Kass with the concepts brehs.

They never should have had these two back to back anyways. I bet die hard Kendrick fans didn't want to have to sit through Future's set and Future fans didn't want to turn all the way down to 3 to listen to Kendrick.
