He definitely has an argument. Also has one of the absolute best discographies.
is all i'm saying

there's an 8 year difference between Jay-Z's Reasonable Doubt and his Black Album

Jay-Z was considered the GOAT by many in 2004 when the Black Album Dropped. And Jay-Z had multiple potholes in his discog in those 8 years

HiiiPower came out around 14 years ago, and Kendrick has dropped classic albums and songs, and nothing even close to as bad as the Blueprint 2, the R Kelly Collabs, or Kingdom Come. Jay-Z's next 6 years afterthe Black Album have Kingdom Come (Mediocre), American Gangster (GREAT), and BP3 (Mediocre)

He's more active than outkast. They only put out 6 albums, and Idlewild is completely forgotten. And he raps just as well as Big Boi and 3K tbh

Wayne has nearly an entire decade of mediocre projects, starting with Rebirth. Kendrick is WAAAY more consistent than Wayne. Wayne dropped one of the most disappointing albums of the 2010's, Tha Carter 4

Kanye had the crown for a while and had the discography, acclaim, and awards to back it up. But ofc everyone knows he's a complete mental case now and has dropped about 5 straight stinkers (Ye, That christian album in 2019, the donda album, and the 2 albums with Ty$)

Kendrick's 14 years are just are arguably better than anyone's in rap and he's not slowing down. People have their preferences, but Kendrick's run is objectively GOAT-tier :manny:

Drake is on a great run as well. No question, but Kendrick curbstomping him to the point where EVERYONE openly clowns him, and to the point where Drake doesn't do interviews has to mean something. The Pusha-T beef was a clear win for Pusha, but this is something far beyond. No rapper has lost a beef as bad as Drake's loss. If you can dismantle one of the biggest stars of the last few decades like KDot did, who is gonna fukk with you?
