:yeshrug:Ima be real, no troll shyt. Drake has never been this hot in his whole career than Kendrick has been in the past year. Not to mention, both these dudes past they prime. Will never see nothing like it again.

Drake was at his hottest during the Views era its just that his commercial peak went hand in hand with his artistic decline as that album is fukking HORRIBLE.

Kendrick made sure that his moment was going to include great music and thats the difference between the two

:jbhmm:I can definitely see that being the case. Then you gotta factor in the biggest record from that album came from another nikka compared to “Not Like Us” sooooooo…. another dub for Dot in that department too.

Kendrick has even reached audience, a lot of young people are stanning him hard. Reminds me of 50 cent run in 2003...except nobody has ever reached such a massive commercial peak 15 years into an already established career.

We won't get the numbers for Dallas anytime soon. Touring Data only has access to venues which sell primarily through Ticketmaster. Dallas, Phoenix and DC are three venues that sell through SeatGeek. We should get numbers for true rest pretty quick

But safe to assume he broke the record for the third time, we'll get the update in the coming weeks

The crazy thing about Kendrick is he was a solidified superstar by the time he dropped DAMN. He was that niggga. The only thing that makes him seem less consistent is because from Damn to Mr Morale it was a 5 year gap of no new material meanwhile his peers were dropping left right and centre. Kendrick always knew how to craft an album with hits and when he does he usually hits it out the park.

Drake stimulus hitting like crazy. Mr Morale and the big steppers came so he went and dissed drake and look what happened :mjlit:
Universally acclaimed album. Meanwhile Drake will never have an album as acclaimed, praised and respected.
Another classic for the king, and still 0 good album from the canadian boy :mjlit:

Before dissing Drake, kendrick had and still has:

-the 2nd biggest rap album of the whole century (when it comes to charts), ahead of any drake album, as confirmed by Billboard
-the best selling rap song ever
-the longuest chartin rap album ever
-the #1 highest rated rap album ever by critics
-the #2 highest rated rap album ever by critics
-the only pulitzer prize ever won by a non classical artist
-the 2nd best selling rap tour ever as a solo rapper, only topped by Travis.

How exactly did it help his career?
What a strong ether :wow:
Joe Budden and Talib Kweli was right, Kendrick didn't need that battle, but Drake did.
