Keem's like an avatar or a muse for dot to live vicariously through.
It's actually very interesting and something to be studied.

To be fair, we wouldn’t have had to wait so long if there wasn’t a pandemic so I think people are overlooking that.I understand wanting to put his family on, thats fukking great, give him 3 or 4 songs, get him popping
But I wish Kendrick was also incorporating the best of the stuff he was giving away to Keem into his own albums. We didn't need a 5 year break from Kendrick albums, and we didnt need the album that came after to be only intense, and devoid of this energy. Those Kendrick songs that went to Keem would've been a great different vibe for a Kendrick album, showing growth & exploration of different sounds and a fuller wider range of emotion and styles rather than pressing himself into this mostly "serious artist" box. Mr Morale & The Big Steppers could have used some of this energy to balance them heavy intense vibes. Wasn't that supposed to be implied by the dichotomy between the Morality AND the Big Stepping? Felt like we mostly only got the morality, and the big stepping parts maybe didnt get used. Or sure, keep the albums separated by different vibes, but release it all. Instead this feels like maybe Kendrick thinks this type of stuff that he's sliding to Keem would be "below him" to release this poppier, weirder, funnier, more eclectic, brash, energetic flexing, lighter, vibey type music himself, and so he lets it out thru Keem, giving Keem a lane. Keem's gotta grow into himself, and Kendrick should let these sides of himself out as well. Cuz if he does look down on releasing this type of stuff for himself, then that'd be a kinda pretentious way of looking at his own work. And thats probably how we ended up with an unbalanced overly intense full on therapy session album thats great but which was way the fukk harder to go back to than all his other albums. Could have used some of these other feelings and levity to switch it up and balance

We got a 5 year break because of covid. It would probably been 2 or 3 without it.I understand wanting to put his family on, thats fukking great, give him 3 or 4 songs, get him popping
