Might be a first in mainstream hip/hip history from a male artist
Still some club/commerical songs, cussing, and harsh realities
But the theme for the album from the Intro to the Outro is clearly about overcoming the tragic situations in your life, letting go of the hate, and accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior
Surprised these demonic, illuminati record execs let this one slip by and are actually pushing it.

Well, I'm not too in tune with what they stand for, because, I only listen to Kendrick.
It started with this thread about Kendrick being an industry plant...
I responded to people being skeptic on the amount of support, an artist like him, is gettin' from the biggest of big wigs. And how Alori Joh was apart of an Illuminati ritual (I don't, never have, believed in the Illuminati--so I'm not rockin' a tin foil hat, here).
I've always looked at him as a "positive, spiritual" type, but, the posters did raise some interesting points.

Disclaimer: I don't vouch for the validity of anything in that justifytheory link (I need to do my research, first).
Before clickin' the link;
- I've only listened to OD (twice) & Section.80 (many times--I love that album), Cartoon & Cereal, Westside, Right On Time, and, maybe, ten other Kendrick guest verses--so I felt I was a fan who got who Kendrick was.
- Thought HiiiPower was just some song, not, a movement they (Black Hippy) live by.
- I didn't understand how much influence Ab-Soul had over the group.
- Knew of ol' girl's suicide, but, knew nothing of her except her hooks and appearance in the HiiiPower video.
- Only heard 2 or 3 Ab-Soul songs (Bohemian Grove, this track with Danny Brown, and a another [I forget]); so I understood his style (nihilism) and that he was atheist.
- Never listened to a Schoolboy Q or Jay Rock song, but, knew of them.
The link is long, but, my understanding of HiiiiPower is that;
The doctrine was created by Ab-Soul. It's about self-empowerment by rejecting all authority (secular and spiritual). It's about using drugs to open your third eye, which is apparently something "the man" doesn't want us to access, because, it's our hidden knowledge. It's completely nihilistic way of life and gettin' ready for society's evidential fall.
I may be off (you can read that link for yourself--it's a long read [with a lot of things to fact check]), but, it's interesting to see what the origin is of a lot of these beliefs the HiiiPower movement comes from.
Again, I'm not that Illuminati guy who thinks the world is controlled by a demon group of reptiles. The entire thing (the existence of the Illuminati) is based off Nazis/Anti-Semites (and there's a lot of antisemitism on this site) pushing an agenda. There was a small group (100 hundreds of years ago) that refered to themselves as the Enlighted Ones (or sometime like that), but, have be gone for 100s of years (Again, do your own reasearch--use credible sources, without an agenda).
If anything, the world is controlled by managers of the richest corporations (that's another thread), not some spooky secret group.

I appreciate the link, but, don't get it twisted: my mind stays vigilant for the things I'm hearing.
Ab Soul always (for the little time I've known of him) struck me as a dude angry he lived a tough life and that leading him to atheism. Like I said; I've really messed with Section.80 and that was a concept album that makes a lot of sense to me. The religious disillusion is obvious to me. But, we see that all throughout society, so, it made sense for that to appear on a concept album about society and the youth in it.
I could have done without most the article. It enlightened me on Ab's condition (didn't know it was that severe a disease) and lyrics of dudes I dont listen to. I don't believe in this dramatic existence of the all great Illuminati (we could go all day about--including how everyone with an Internet connection has detailed info on all their schemes).
I'm open minded about the idea of ppl usin their experiences with drugs as some proof of an existence of a higher realm. NOTE: This is why I believed that singer killed herself
I really don't like those type of posts because they are so obvious bias. Every little detail is a "well, he might be referring to."
He loses me with the dramatics. He really shows Black Hippy to be self-righteous, misguided youths who believe hedonism and anarchy is the way to some sort of freedom.
What kills me about this "symbolism" talk is that it only becomes a problem with it's dramatized with Illuminati talk, pyramids and numbers. But, cats talkin about the same things (hedonism & anarchy) don't get nearly as much reflection and examination because they don't wear pyramids. It's probably because it will lead to us having to actually attack real issues, and leave all that Final-Warcraft-Masonic-squares crap on your harddrives.
Are these brothas misguided? I believe so. But, so are we, worrying about sex rituals and shapes.
I believe the mind control is the belief in some fake group we can't stop. Leading us hopeless and (really) scared.
I live by the Bible and not by the fear of an organization that doesn't exist. I'll pray for those brothers and try to reach the local youth, the best I can.

Ab-Soul is the leader, so, it starts with him. And a lot of the things he practices has their roots occultism. It's bothersome, because, he is an atheist and he makes mention of these practices:

Be warned; it is a conspiracy site (75% of it is hollow dramatics, 20% disputable, 5% facts).
I'm callin' anyone "demonic," nor am I deleting all my Kendrick music (yet).
I just understand that; a lot of their doctrine has troubling origins.
I'm goin' keep researching--as time permits--before I make a final judgement.
