The commercial songs are the best songs on the album though...

BWA, Hard For and La Familia only songs I think weren't necessary but none of those records are terrible. Hard For was made for top 40 and the other 2 are meant to appeal to Luca Brasi fans. I guess Ask For More isn't needed but it kind of holds the sonic cohesion of the album together.

Love It is a great way to exit on a triumph not after an album full of cuts dealing with betrayal, heartbreak and depression

I understand why people like Luca Brasi 2, but to me Islah is definitely his best work so far.

I ain't big on Told Me or I Love It though La Familia is definitely a carrot for fans of his mixtape run but I think it worked well enough. BWA and Hard For on the other hand were definitely unnecessary and Ask For More was uninspired all the way around.


I like LB2 more because he sounded hungrier and the production suited him a little better imo.
