You’re performing at the Super Bowl for the Super Bowl crowd, performing at the SB isn’t some weird hip hop flex GTFOH
Actually you are performing for the TV audience... not the crowd. The NFL doesn't want people at home to turn the channel... they could care less about the crowd attending bc they have their money already.

Of course the ATL
So Squabble Up, Humble, DNA, Luther, All the Stars and TV Off aren't smash records?

Bro a SB show is supposed to be from an international superstar with GLOBAL pop records. Yes those are hit records to rap fans, the average person doesn’t know them. He ain’t got the catalogue to do a show like the SB, there’s no shame in acknowledging that

And you talking about a crowd who's taste in music is shyt.

Superbowl crowd really want White rock bands or Morgan Wallen. They do not want no damn rapper unless its Em and even then people will still hate cause Hip Hop is really not at the top anymore.

I bet if any of the top women pop stars performed, people would still be complaining too. This the same crowd that got mad at Black people singing "Lift Every Voice and Sing"a few hours ago.

But you do realize that going by that logic, no rapper should perform the super bowl, right? :heh:

Or excuse me. No black rapper :mjpls:

I can understand ppl being disappointed that Dot ain’t perform his older hits but he did that during his set at the Dre/Snoop halftime years ago.

Ive seen Dot perform those old hits to death…we rarely got any new performances of his newer material since the battle started so I’m not complaining. Plus it’s current and relevant to his worldwide tour that’s coming up.

I would’ve swapped out Be Humble for Alright…that’s the only one he could’ve switched but otherwise it was a good performance.

And kudos to him for performing Not Like Us and incorporating Samuel L Jackson and Serena Williams into his set.
