Do people understand he made this track as a joke? This interlude was meant to be jazz boho lunacy. You should be laughing at the delivery and the choice of dialogue. That was the whole point of the track, if you can't pick up on that, go watch Spinal Tap sometime...![]()
It's not a joke, it's about capitalism and materialism. The woman is America, and she is complaining that Kendrick doesn't treat her like her other nikkas - buying her clothes, jewelry, cars, etc. Kendrick responds by...well, telling her this dikk ain't free. He doesn't owe her shyt - in reality she owes him. He lists a variety of her ills, vices, and crimes while justifying his own refusal to pay her.
At the end of the song she says "I'm gonna get my Uncle Sam to fukk you up." How? The previous track, Wesley'sTheory, sums it up: taxes. Spend all your money on trash, and the minute you go broke Uncle Sam will be there to take you to jail.
