Delaying the album by a week wouldn't hurt, but I don't buy that the label is suddenly oh so surprised that Humble is a hit.

You don't drop a song WITH a simultaneous big budget video like they did for Humble expecting this to just be a middle of the road street single. This was clearly packaged to have a big impact. Therefore I don't think the album is getting pushed back at all.

There's one Hard Bop/Free Jazz sounding track on the album, one Funk record and one straight soul record
The rest of it is just some more theoretically advanced Hip-Hop or "Jazz fusion" but really, it's more Neo-Soul/Hip-Hop than it is anything else.
