It is a good thing when you dont rush a product and take time on it.
You could say this if you actually knew what the recording process was like for these artist
If they are recording music all the time I rather my favorite artist drop a song every 3 months or so and a project every year then to wait 3 years in between every project
Being a fan of an artist that constantly releases music ( ala future, Drake, Old Jay z, J Cole) >> artist that don't (Nas, Juelz)

All I know is that most new school rappers rush it faster than rappers back then and the quality compared to back then has dropped.
All of yo rappers rushed albums sound mixtape quality with repetitive beats.
