i've heard action bronson and skyzoo. i think i may have heard the others BUT those two don't do it for me. they're boring.

action bronson is hardly boring. i can see skyzoo but bronson has way too much comedy in his raps and videos to be boring. he even has "action" in his name. you may be the problem here.

Brooklyn son
Roc Marc is fire
Earl Sweatshirt just dropped the album of the year.
People are putting way too much stock into Kendrick's otherwise corny verse

So Cocaine Castle and Hood Pope aren't piff, Work and Shabba aren't bangers. B-Real and Onyx did not body Ferg, I will admit Bizzy Bone got him on Lord. The whole A$AP cliques music is coastless, they got influences from everywhere and they put it in their music. Y'all nikkas is too regional and put to much emphasis on shyt enjoy the fkn music.

Ferg isn't that bad, he has nice production, multiple flows, he isn't a super lyrical cat but he isn't complete ass on the mic he spit a few dope freestyles on Funk Flex's show before the album drop. Trap Lord got good reviews it's a pretty good album, if y'all wanna hate on some close minded shyt fk it :manny:

i understand that you're an asap mob fan and i respect your opinion. however, i disagree.

it has nothing to do with being regional. it has to do with being creative and making your own lane off. i understand if they loosely took from others like how biggie did using the west coast sounds on his first album BUT asap mob went completely all out. it's like they jacked the flow, slang, style, sound, copying off of rappers styles and accents even from other coasts. that's just BITING. it's embarrassing because new york is supposed to be the top spot in hip hop where it has it's own culture that it doesn't need to copy off other areas. so it just makes the whole entire nyc look bad especially when these guys are supposed to be the representatives of the area. it shows a lack of identity or loss of power. they are bringing nothing new or interesting to the table at all.

I ain't gonna try and convince you, cause you got your own opinion, obv.. but

I don't know.. I've been listening to A$AP Mob's music since LLA mixtape and I don't see it as biting..if youve watched some interviews with them they are a group of individuals that fukks with hip hop all across the board, west coast, south, and new york and take influence from that.. are they supposed to stick to one formula because its the "ny thing to do"? nah.. fukk that. why should it be asap's responsibility to uphold ny's image?

that's the thing i like about asap..they do whatever. i could listen to their music and get that ny feel, west coast, and south feel all in one album..but they make it sound their own by choosing great beats (sometimes beats that you wouldnt really expect to be on a rap album) that work for what they are doin.. like, they could choose a 'southern' ish beat, but it doesnt even really sound like they're bitin the south, imo.. cause it still got that asap feel to it

you may see it as biting, but i see it as takin some of the best aspects of certain regional sounds and makin dope music that doesn't sound like its limited to one region that people across the board can fukk with

i can def tell Rocky is from Ny..just cause hes not usin typical 90s soundin ny esque beats don't mean you can't tell.. he got that ny flow on this song
