and yes to answer you directly a lot of the kendrick stannary on here has got way outta control. hes now bigger than drake all time and better than nas all time LOL. its awful

The beef was only massive because it was two established superstar rappers going head to head the likes of which hadn’t been seen since Nas/Jay-Z went at it twenty years ago. Facts are facts and numbers are numbers and Kendrick was already that dude before he spanked Drake. Kendrick was literally coming off of the highest grossing tour ever for a rapper from the Mr. Morale tour. So this inclination that Kendrick somehow was elevated by the battle when he already had everything the battle ended up gaining him (Number 1 chart placements, sold out tours, Grammys, etc.) is laughable.

Not to mention the last TWO times they’d both put out solo albums within the same year Kendrick outsold Drake (2017 & 2022)

I mean we can’t just ignore FACTS to make a point for Drake. It doesn’t work that way.

Yes kendrick is a big artist and has been since 2016, more acclaimed too, the beef put kendrick at a spot hes never been and he should thank drake for that, same as when drake took him on tour when he was young
