Jay is a remote possibility due to his affiliation with the Superbowl. But most mainstream rap fans in 2025 do not give a f*ck about Jay.

Keep in mind Drake/Kendrick are considered older rappers themselves, but due to streamers like Kai, etc. tuning into the battle a gang of younger people have an interest in Kendrick now. A Jay interview makes sense to us (again, the Superbowl connection) but it wouldn't make sense to them.

They picked a guy (Chalamet) Gen Z is interested in. They probably could've gotten Kai but I don't think the NFL has cross promotion with streamers. At least not yet.
