Any international company that isn't "up on his rants" (or is familiar with Ye and still dont gaf)...likely wouldn't be operating out of a country or using a medium that would be concerned with paying for a song and any enforcement related to that...don't you think? Most of Kanye's streaming earnings for those old songs has dwindled down...and will continue to dwindle with the more dumb shyt he does and the more time passes. These catalogs aint cheap. Most of the disclosed amounts have been in the 8-9 figure range. Your talking about amounts that exceed Kendricks net worth. It would be a significant investment...not some petty shyt you do to make Kanye suicidal. Kendrick doesn't have the resources that these licensing companies do...and I'm not just talking about money, though that is realistically the case as well. Buying these catalogs is a long play...and the music industry is not in place where regular rich people can buy a catalog and profit off it anytime soon. I know some of ya'll getting your jokes off...but some of ya'll are acting like this could and should be a real thing. Like this is something you can and should do on a whim cuz you feeling petty.
