Lupe coasted on SLR 2, speaking of which I believe will be the crown jewel of this pseudo rap 'competition' Kendrick Lamar started. It's no point for any other rapper to come out with a freestyle because they won't outdo what Lupe released less than 24 hours ago.

Kendrick should pay homage to Lupe in some manner. Write him a letter, text him, or call him on the phone. Whatever he needs to do to thank Lupe for letting him light a fire under his ass, needs to happen.

Lupe deserves the text cause he clearly overshadowed Kendrick Lamar's verse, IMO. It was a display of a distinguished talent level. I like Kendrick but Lupe shows he's a level above him which is exactly what Lupe was trying to establish in the freestyle.

Food and Liquor is slightly better than GKMC to me. The Cool isn't but it's close. But his last 2 albums aren't close.

Lupe will always be my favorite rapper hands down, but sometimes Lupe can be a danger to himself. This whole cocky attitude he has, that I don't have to "rap" or respond to this shyt is killing his fan count. We know you have the intellect, the talent, the flow, but can you deliver to your expectations.

Lupe and Kendrick teaming up will be Lacey Duvalle on a silver platter

But they both respect each other, Lupe gave him his praise, but Lupe saying don't get too carried away. Plus I don't think Lupe, being from Chicago really cares about the KONY crown.
