Nas
Jay-Z
Common
Ghostface Killah
Black Thought


Nas and Jay are locked in the top 2. No one will ever surpass them. Common has had an incredible career and is still going strong. Ghostface last couple projects have been hella disappointing but he’s still got a good ten projects that I rate highly. Black Thought is still going strong but Kendrick’s impact at this point is greater than his.

My problem with kendrick is the breaks he takes. but…his moments are…quite impressive.

I was told by some crodies that the performance was "mid" and "trash" and that Drake has a lifeline now.

My problem with kendrick is the breaks he takes. but…his moments are…quite impressive.

He took two "long" breaks one after GKMC and one after Black Panther and that one was more than likely influenced by covid. He dropped projects in 2012, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018*. He then came back in 2022 and again in 2024.

If covid didn't happen he probably would have dropped in 2020.

Never was the biggest Pac fan but I respect his influence and won’t argue with anyone who has him in the top 5.

He would’ve dropped in 2020 for sure. He was shooting videos that year. Some of the extras from N95 and Count Me Out confirmed those videos were filmed as early as 2019.
