Iggy is such an easy target. Like shooting a fish in a barrel. She holds no power or weight in hip hop. People say it's about what she "represents." And that is? Culture vultures? The big birds are the whites/Jews, and a few scattered blacks at the top. No one is speaking on them though, no one with even a semblance of relevance anyway. Not even an ounce. They will line up to take pictures and be patted on the head by these old men but happily shyt on Iggy who was placed into the culture and is supported by these same men.

Iggy won't be relevant in two years, and that's being generous. But guess who will have the power to replace her? Yeah, they'll still be in charge taking pictures with killers making them look like literal puppets word to Doug Morris.

How is he wrong though? Every conversation about Iggy is race first, music second. He's at least half right. He's wrong about it not being AT ALL about the music. It is. Just her trash music is secondary to her race.
For me its more about the fact she is an actor playing the part of a southern female rapper. If she was being herself, no one would be dissing Iggy as they are. None of that really has anything to do with her race. If she was actually from the south, had a southern drawl, and came up through hip hop then she wouldn't be getting scrutinized as she is regardless of her race.
But being she is from Australia, was a wanna be Britney Spears and then when that failed decided to play the part of a rapper, I just can't respect that.
niccas just don't wanna admit or realize that they are being racist. That's what it appears to be coming down too, no different than some white people not wanting tiger woods in their sport, and succeeding at it. Stop it, talent is subjective to ones own taste. Let's not EVEN act like eminent didn't get the same flack when he first came out with "my name is", he was getting clowned the same way for that corny ass song that rose to the top of the "RAP" charts,
Macklemore got clowned and hated on for being deemed a rap artist and succeeding in this shyt.
Iggy is just going through the exact same thing.
Its a lot of rappers in this shyt that definitely deserves the
