I'm glad he changed it up and didn't regurgitate the same sounding shyt. If I want to listen to section 80 or GKMC then I will just play those records. I liked tpab just not as much as the other two. He still is one of the better artists representing the genre

Keep it one with ya selves. Nobody talks about Kendrick like back when Good Kid dropped. He has a good fan base but he's not popping in pop culture like that anymore :yeshrug:

I'ma ask this in every Kendrick bashing thread till I'm answered;

What do nikkas want from Kendrick?
stop using tupac's name sake to promote his watered down militant ravings.
Stop making wack music with awful flows, and meh poetry to hide the fact that his substance is pretty weak

The way Kendrick's career has gone so far is not normal. He made weird music to quick, and moves as if its already a certain thing that hes gonna stay one of the top in the industry.

Kendrick coming out with tpab for his 2nd album would be like kanye making Yeezus right after college dropout. , and then tlop after that. Just skipping lr , graduation, fantasy etc.

Naw Kendrick it's too soon for 'experimental' shyt. But what doesnt make sense is how the fans act like his legend status is already true . For some reason people just decided hes a great without him actually putting the work in.
If you think TPAB was his second album, your opinion is already invalid.

Half of the "Black" posters hating on the album probably hadn't even heard of Thundercat or George Clinton before the album :dead:
Complaining about his music like it didn't follow a 50+ year tradition in Black music :heh:
Probably never heard of the Underdogs, Sly and the Family Stone, or New Jack Swing either :mjlol:

Kills me when these "black people" be like ":scust: jazz?" Just hate Kendrick cause he's Kendrick. If you hatin cause of the jazz influence you're exposing yourself.

Not even sure why people sayin he changed so much, section .80 had plenty of jazz influence, GKMC was looked as as him stepping out.

He been out since '05 tho
:skip:
They want him to be like 50 Cent and make the same music for over a decade, so they can complain about how he never switches up :dead:
There's a great thread in the Booth right now, about favourite bass lines in songs. I think most of the posters should be in that thread, if they think the album was "experimental" or "weird." :ahh:
