Another rapper I've seen come out on the top side of this Meek-Drake skirmish is Big Sean. He was dropped out of the top group to some degree after Hall of Fame by a lot of people. I've seen more posters than usual throwing his name around since the Meek diss dropped.

Some of that seems to be based on the speculation he wrote for Drake

Your really think that wasn't planned?

Kendrick drops his calculated black rally music approved by his overlords. Whites buy it for $1.29 on Itunes.

Fox News gets old white people in an uproar like they're supposed to. They forget bout it in a day.

Black folks who don't know any better think he's a revolutionary.

Young whites who don't know any better think it makes their parents mad and black people love him, so they buy more of it.

Interscope wins. Apple wins. Jimmy wins. Fox wins. Kendrick gets his pennies on the dollar. You're obviously none the wiser, everybody's happy.
You're a dumbass. Nobody I know who likes Kendricks music bought it because of any reason or person you listed. The kid, is simply that good at what he does, without ghostwriters.

Kendrick is not even relevant anymore

All he had to do was throw a lay up by following a similar formula to his last shyt and he woulda been on top but instead he dropped that flop album

About to go platinum for TPAB, for the longest Drake and Cole were his only real rivals. A lot of people don't know Kendrick don't really fukk with Drake anymore like that, Drake will never come back and be the same dude he use to be, so out of the beef he's the one that's winning the most from it. :yeshrug: Drake being exposed pretty much conceded Kendrick the #1 spot by default. You could argue they were battling for the number one spot at some point, but now Drake isn't even in the competition anymore.
I concour:stopitslime:

Kendrick has the fanbase, bars, skills and love of the people to go at Drake, Cole, Meek, and whoever else wants beef.

This site's community are the most socially aware blacks on the entire internet.

That's not a bad thing. In fact, it's incredible that we're a part of it.

The problem is, they often resort to hive minding, brain washing, and circle jerking to get their points across.

I suppose because it's quicker and convenient. :yeshrug:

But the "he mentioned black on black crime, he's c00ning :scusthov:" narrative doesn't work in Kendrick's case.

Because like you said, he isn't deflecting from anything.

Kendrick grew up in Comptom. His priority is legitimately to put an end to gang violence.

This whole "Kendrick is a c00n" nonsense is really the result of a flaw in this site's social system. Nothing less, nothing more.
You pretty much said, what I wanted to say, but you summed it up more eloquently than I could've put it. This sites pro-Black stance on most subjects, is AWESOME to me. But we throw around the word c00n, a liiiiitle to soon on certain people, especially when we don't use context to what they're saying. Folks need to stop comparing Kendricks Black on Black interview to the "W-W-W-What about Chicagooooo" crowd.
