It's been selling at a pretty consistent pace and will be plat soon. Disappointing album and performance IMO, but it certainly didn't fall off the charts like some claimed it would.

His fanbase is too big for it too fall off the charts in this time but GKMC may outsell this by the end of the year

Those Fleetwood Mac, Prince, Pink Floyd, and Michael Jackson numbers are insane. To be pushing that many units. Not only decades after release, but decades after vinyl allegedly died. You're right, it's back. People want physical, tangible things.

According to data from the MRC and Billboard, 38.3 per cent of all album sales in the country last year were in vinyl format, while it accounted over 50 per cent of all physical album sales (41.72 million sales out of a total of 82.79 million).

The rate of vinyl albums sold last year went up by a massive 51.4 per cent to 41.72 million compared to 27.55m in 2020.
