GKMC had that west coast vibe too it on most of the tracks. I'm just glad he staying true to that west coast sound. The beauty of it all though is that west coast hip hop is the most diverse in terms of style and production. Many different ways to flip it. I think Kendrick has a good ear for picking this soundtracks so I will trust his judgement.

Like I thought the Game got better when he had an even more West Coast sound on his second album but it almost felt like despite it being a success it got slept on over time. Quik so quintessientally west coast but it feels like hes never had a chance to crossover with his sound barring a couple of eras. Hes a legend too and defines that region for a time like Primo did NY.
