Work shyt made me miss this but it sounds like a good thought based on the tweet ... since the call to pledge 10 percent lacked diversity in whom the pledge invitation was geared toward , it probably should have been done behind closed doors ... at least initially and as @NYC Rebel said more heads up was needed .

Kenny Smith can't organize a meeting and get 100's of guys there. These dudes are on vacation or doing other stuff or simply don't wanna be seen in public being attached to this. Social media is the best way. Plus this makes it non-exclusive for just NBA players, but black pro-athletes in general

What other group televises or tweets their way into repairing their communities? Bro....this isn't about fear. Jews in Williamsburg, BK are the biggest holders of section 8 housing in the United States....they didn't collectively take advantage of the system by airing the process on Twitter or periscope.
