Not to.pee on the rants and all but the giraffe she shot is an old male that couldn't breed and he was killing the younger males that could

He also wasnt the species of giraffe that was going extinct - rather the species he was is one that has increased in number

And the giraffe she killed the meat went to feed the local tribe in that area

But WHYYYY kill a giraffe though?? I don't get it, it's not going to be consumed and it's not even real game. What are certain people fascination with fukkin with animals? This reminds me of how the Natives give prayer to the animals they kill and consume because they understand their sacrifice and the cycle of life.

This is just.....like, why??

Kentucky Woman Faces Backlash For Killing African Giraffe

A Kentucky woman is facing harsh criticism on social media after photographs circulated on Twitter showing her posing with a giraffe she killed on a South African safari last year.

A tweet last month from @africlandpost showed photobig-game hunter Tess Thompson Talley exulting with the dead giraffe. “White american savage who is partly a neanderthal comes to Africa and shoot down a very rare black giraffe courtesy of South Africa stupidity,” the tweet said. It named Talley and added: “Please share.”

Some celebrities joined the criticism, with comedian Ricky Gervais tweeting: “What’s 16 feet tall and has a c**t on the back of its neck?” Actress Debra Messing wrote: “Tess Thompson Talley from Nippa, Kentucky is a disgusting, vile, amoral, heartless, selfish murderer.”

Talley didn’t reply to HuffPost’s request for comment. She did say in an email to Fox News: “The giraffe I hunted was the South African sub-species of giraffe. The numbers of this sub-species is actually increasing due, in part, to hunters and conservation efforts paid for in large part by big game hunting. The breed is not rare in any way other than it was very old. Giraffes get darker with age.”

Gervais had a long response to that, saying in part: “I’m sick of Trophy Hunters trying to excuse their grim sport by saying they provide a service. They exploit the needs of the poor. They pay lots of money to go and shoot a magnificent animal because the authorities need the cash, and then claim they are doing a good deed. It’s not a good deed.”

Some people on social media defended Talley.

Breh,I know the kind of place they live. Too dry to farm and trust me the locals aren't into coding or net startups. That 600k USD YEARLY is all they have. Hunting is merely about WILDLIFE UTILISATION.

I know but if your going to charge money for killing some of the most exotic rare animals you better be charging millions. 600k for over 30? Theyre undervaluing.

Because the old giraffe who wasnt/cant reproduce anymore was killing all the young males who are needed to reproduce

And this particular species of giraffe isn't endangered -

Hunting is used to manage animal populations and in this particular instance provides food and some income for the local tribe who have nothing as far as jobs or industry

Their whole bloodlust thing is still creepy. They get a fukcing thrill killing something that's just standing there and ideally doesn't even detect the hunter

It's simply watching a mf die and knowing you pressed the button on that ass. This is not totally exclusive to white people I guess but they seem to crave that shyt to where they go way out of their way to arrange that shyt. Have children cutting open bodies an shyt

Severed heads on the wall. Images of their favorite prey plastered everywhere. I really love killing this type of creature. I don't even fight them I just shoot from as far away as possible
