I think China's 15 minutes in Africa are about to be up. The younger Africans, who aren't so easily swayed by the trinkets dangled before the eyes of selfish elders, will not have any of these Chinese neo-colonials coming into their country and treating them like dogs. :francis:

:wow: Bout time the africans got on code man... They've allowed this shyt for too long...

Sadly a military battle might come of it. China understands the value of that land and for 30 billion...they want it bad.

The UK owned Hong Kong like this iirc

How big is Nairobi City and what is he trying to do that he can’t do to the 2 billion Chinese and their ample land? Take that experiment shyt on elsewhere
Nairobi isn't huge but it has a large population and he wanted to build some robotics factories and probably source cheap labor. But the clown really thinks he can lease a capital city of a fukking country for 5 years. The levels of disrespect are phenomenal :heh:

That was the second large loan China had turned down by Kenya and they are also currently mad we don't want to import their fish. We have fukking fish of our own. Their trash fish was hurting local business so import was stopped and they threatened to back out of current developments :manny:

I wonder how Kenya will continue to pay off its loans paying off both China and the IMF at the same time. Right now it's among the most in-debt countries on the continent despite the impressive development the country has gone through the past 20 years.

Debt ratio is not too far off China’s and the USA’s

Title is misleading. A technology investment loan was rejected, simple. How can anyone even believe that such a proposal in the title was made?
Kenya is not a communist country, Nairobi is privately owned by Kenyan businessmen with afew pockets of government reserve land, how would the government be able to sell a whole city they don't own.
Besides, even if this hypothetically happened, Nairobi is huge & land prices are too expensive, 30 billion won't even buy 1/4 o the city. This is a city that contains a whole national park within its borders.
