Title is misleading. A technology investment loan was rejected, simple. How can anyone even believe that such a proposal in the title was made?
Kenya is not a communist country, Nairobi is privately owned by Kenyan businessmen with afew pockets of government reserve land, how would the government be able to sell a whole city they don't own.
Besides, even if this hypothetically happened, Nairobi is huge & land prices are too expensive, 30 billion won't even buy 1/4 o the city. This is a city that contains a whole national park within its borders.

That whole indian thing is being overplayed this ain't the 80's or 90's most those children leave and don't come back... That's why you see them in your schools. And they aren't all rich because they own a company. Most are concentrated in a few areas not widespread in the country.

Been there since colonialism. Cacs used them as a buffer between Whites and Blacks, trying to institute different classes in society... tried to leave them in top spots when they left the country. that's how they acquired their wealth. they weren't immigrants in the same sense as the Chinese are now.
