I honestly don't think they can tell the difference considering the circumstances. I guess they figured eveybody involved in the ring taking one trip and they're only paying for one trip.

If you read it they said the Taiwan China thing is their own issue. We don't have diplomatic relations with Taiwan because it isn't existing as a country as of now. China is who is recognized. The rest is up to them to sort out. And considering they were in the country illegally. And then on top of that were conducting a massive criminal operation... From reading the article, it seems its actually a China pleasing move because they don't recognize Taiwan as an independent state. China stated they are happy with the move.
