More bullshyt from Magufuli. I can see this being popular with the common Tanzanian, but the larger implications are clear, and it’s part of a clear trend of fukkery with him since he’s been President.

Some sycophants in the ruling party tried to suggest the should extend his term to 7 years but at least he refused the suggestion ( so far)

Also he’s recently made up with former PM who was the front runner to take over from the previous President ( then joined the opposition when he lost to Magufuli). If the former PM rejoins the ruling party its curtains for the opposition ( which is already has had screws tightened by Magufuli. One opposition politician got shot and almost killed last year by “unknown assailiants”)

Good post. While this may not seem big its only apart of a larger problem. Tanzanians are slowly losing the freedom they largely had.

I think he told off religious folks too who spend all their time being theologians in church and mosque and thats all they do. That I agree with.
