Kenya has been a uS puppet since it's independence in 1963. The US flew in and cuffed it's balls right away because they weren't a crazy ass nation like it's neighbors and it would be good for US strategy.

foreign policy for a long time which is why it was so isolated.- It managed to piss off the USSR by invading fellow socialist Ethiopia and basically
at reconciliation meetings attended by North Yemen, USSR and Castro. Barre was trying to intimidate Castro in the meeting, hence why Cubans were fighting alongside the Habeshas.- Pissed off the West by being pro-Russia amongst other things. E.g The US was heated when the Somali government refused to sanction Somali flagged ships trading with Vietnam during the war claiming to be non-aligned. West Germany (important aid donor) was pissed when Somalia recognised East Germany.
-And of course all the regional neighbours were on edge because Somalia was one of the most armed countries in Africa with unresolved land claims. Which is why Kenya and Ethiopia signed a mutual defense pact.

I take it you don't know a god damn thing about Kenya. Kenya actually doesn't have any foreigners 'taking' any resources, as it is one of the few countries in africa without minerals. they have some, but very very little and they are state-owned.
Kenya also has great relations with all of its african neighbors excluding Somalia. Kenya isn't murking Somalians, there are thousands of somalians in Kenya. In fact the entire north province are somali descent. They are fighting terrorists.
