Not sure if Kerry is gay or not, but I most definitely think he was set up.
- Kerry is one of those smart/dumb nikkas, so he probably be like "yeah I'm secure with myself, I don't have a problem with gay dudes" and was more than willing to show just how far he'd go to prove that.
- Kerry was trying to break into Hollywood and these photos and videos were taken during a period where he had a "camera crew" following him around in hopes of capturing what would become the treatment for a possible reality show. Why you think all these "scandalous" photos are in such high quality (and in some they looking right at the camera), yet weren't actually captured by TMZ or a tabloid? They were [initially] released by people working for Kerry. Usually salatious photos are grainy or somewhat out of focus.
- The assistant was sent to Kerry through a firm and supposedly this assistant has worked with several NFL players in the past, yet there's only stories tied to Kerry.
Here's what I think happened.
Kerry wanted to be a reality star, so he got with a firm that said we can make this happen. They got him the prerequisite gay assistant, developed some story lines and started shooting in hopes of capturing something interesting. Unbeknownst to Kerry, what they were actually capturing were played up homoerotic moments based on the fact that Kerry was so secure (smart/dumb) with his sexuality that he was willing to play along for cheap laughs. The prevailing thought being that this will be something that gets people talking, we'll leak some photos and see what happens. Is he/isn't he, who knows, but lets drum up some interest and develop our show.
Once Kerry got hold of the footage, he saw how he was being depicted and no longer wanted to play along, but by that time the damage was done. The photos were leaked, people started talking, there were already people that were suspect of him even back from college (probably the reason for his hyper-secure persona). He'd pretty much pissed away his football career while at the same time pissing away a chance at reality tv stardom (lol). Just a theory.
