KD is out of line. Calling out the ref by name and everything. Says the ref was “in his feelings” but he was crying and being extra demonstrative the whole time. Then unloads this long diatribe. Is that not the very definition of “being in your feelings” ?

He flat out admits that he told the ref that “he was wrong”...yea that’s a good way to reason with someone. By telling them that they can’t do their job.

fukk outta here with that bullshyt you’re the last person that should be talking about “being in your feelings”

They had just let Durant get away with a blatant goaltend and gave him a block for it, which was ridicuous, then the next time down he goes for another block and there's contact so he throws a tantrum and slams the ball yelling at the ref.

Warriors already get ridiculous calls the majority of the time, but they want the call 100% of the time regardless of what actually happened. Refs give Draymond and Durant more leeway than anyone else in the league yet they still lead the NBA in techs. Then they talk shyt in interviews like the refs were the ones outta line :jagfan: Insufferable
Unless I saw the wrong play....that second tech was garbage & outta line :scust:

How you T a player who wasn't even talking to you :dwillhuh:

He is just adding to the players vs referee narrative. He will be fined and apologize for going at a ref in an interview. I assume there will be a sit down with both unions after this season is over with.

This...and he was so blatant with it cause he's crying when they were up 18 with 2 minutes left... TheColi tells me he shouldn't have even been in the game at that point unless he's stat padding...

Being a ref means having a tough skin.
No one, I mean no one, goes to a NBA came to see a fukking ref.
If the refs get the big britches, NBAPA needs to say we are walking if you use the NBA referee union. Period.
Put them on game to game contracts, but this talk about refs not being 'shown up" needs to be deaded.
If someone looks at a ref so the fukk what, look at them back and do your job.
You enforce the rules, consistantly and you keep the game moving and diffuse potential conflict.
Frankly they probably need more than 3 refs, need 4 and they need to ban refs from the opposite side of the floor or court frome making calls that everyone knows they can't see.

Not necessarily but it's obvious it happens.
Maybe back in the day if it were Rasheed Wallace. I don't think any of these players today are tough or intimidating anyone especially Kevin Durant. In fact didn't a ref just go head up with Shaun Livingston? I think most of these refs probably look at these player more like pussies than anything they should be scared of.

Game to game contracts means refs will strike. Strike will end up will end up with replacement refs. :camby:
Refs hold power out there. Its okay if player complains to them but if your in their personal space angry, yelling, cursing, staring...
they are in the right to call a tech.
Most of the refs do a good job they been getting a lot of criticism over the years because players using the rules to their benefit like harden/wade/ style flopping or superstar calls.
I agree that their should be 4 refs 2 on each side of the floor. that provide maximum visibility of each play and eliminate refs sprinting running for their life during a fast break.

Replacement refs who know their career depends on every game being as right as possible is better than the shyt today.
No sense for there to be 60 or even 50 year old refs working either.
