Are people going to forget that he ruptured his achilles thus negating at least two of those Brooklyn season's? Let's not have revisionist history and pretend like KD was out there failing the entire time just to support Shaq's narrative as it's corny and disingenuous as hell.

People really need to pick a KD/GS stance and stick to it as their argument changes day to day.

Nah fam- he was perfectly healthy last playoffs and this playoff run. He's an incredible talent but that doesn't change what Shaq said. He's accomplished nothing but a first and second round exit since he's left GS

Are you forgetting that he was injured half the season and took the eventual championships to seven games last year and was a foot on the three point line away from beating them and that was without Kyrie and a injured Harden. Like I said, when he was with GS people like Shaq bytched and complained about it and now they’re still complaining even when he did what they wanted. It’s why peoples argument is disingenuous as their narrative changes daily.

He was playing as if he had zero rust last playoffs.

Even taking last year out the window, he couldn't get one game from Boston?

To your point, I agree that there is a level of hypocrisy with Shaq, but it doesn't change the fact he hasn't done anything. Both can be true simultaneously

Boston was a completely different team (look at the numbers) than they were at the beginning of the season same as Brooklyn. Let’s also not forget that they were playing without Simmons who would have been helpful to their cause, which is a different story altogether.

Tell the entire story and not leave out certain bits and pieces to fit a narrative is my point.

For a man, who was as dominant as he was, but still needed Kobe and Prime Wade for championships, he really shouldn't throw stones.

Kobe averaged 15-3-3 on 38% shooting for Shaq's first title. Saying he "needed" Kobe is a bit of a stretch, he could have won that title with a lot of all-star guards as his #2. Same goes for 2001 - sure Kobe was a bigger star then, but Shaq was so dominant they didn't even need that big of a star, they could have won with less.

Shaq never won anything without Kobe or Wade so pot meet kettle

Besides

Lebron never won without Kyrie, Wade or AD
Kobe never won without Shaq or Gasol
Steph never without Klay or Dray
Jordan without Pippen

Everybody need somebody.

Your main point is true.

I think the counterargument is you said, "LeBron never won without Kyrie", but KD does have Kyrie this very moment and didn't even win a playoff game.

People need to accept KD is not a winner like Lebron or Jordan
People have legit wiped away half his career with OKC and made the excuse that he was playing with Westbrook but then give him all the credit for teaming up with steph and winning
Now there's no steph and he's back to losing like in OKC and people just trot out the same excuses "Oh kyrie and James are the problem", Injuries, Nash can't coach, etc
